With You for the Journey

Komfort Krates was created from lived grief, deep love, and the belief that no one should walk through loss alone. This is our story—and the heart behind every intentionally chosen comfort we send.

Our Story

More than ten years ago, after the sudden passing of my son, Robert, I found myself searching for something—some way to bring comfort into a world that no longer felt familiar. Only months later, one of my best friends lost her son to cancer. We were two mothers navigating grief—holding each other up and realizing how deeply people need support when life changes in an instant.

Around that same time, subscription boxes were just emerging. I was intrigued by the idea of delivering something meaningful right to someone’s door—a small moment of comfort in a time when even the simplest things feel hard. That spark became the first vision for Komfort Krates, a project I poured my heart into more than a decade ago.

Just as I was preparing to launch, the organization I had previously worked for asked if I could return for a short while to help. That “short while” turned into over ten years, and Komfort Krates remained a gentle, persistent whisper—an idea that never left me.

Recently, life created the space for that whisper to become a calling again. My husband, Dan, retired, and with his support, time, and belief in this vision, we decided it was finally time to bring Komfort Krates to life.

Komfort Krates is our way of turning love into something tangible.
A way to show up for people when words aren’t enough.
A way to help others feel seen, supported, and held—especially in life’s hardest seasons.

Every box is created with intention, softness, and emotional luxury.
Every item is chosen to comfort, nurture, and honor the person receiving it.

This isn’t just a business for us.
It’s a continuation of our story—a story shaped by grief, strengthened by love, and dedicated to making sure no one has to navigate their storms alone.

Welcome to Komfort Krates.
Send comfort. Speak love.

With love,
Jennifer & Dan
